Some states’ vital records offices offer an expedited application process called rush service. You can opt for rush service for an additional fee and get a copy of your vital record faster. In some states, you can get a copy in as little as 2-3 days.
However, keep in mind that not all rush service is the same. While some states offer truly expedited processing times, other states simply provide a rush shipping option, and some actually provide both.
