The state of Connecticut charges $30 to process a birth certificate application and provide your first copy. Any additional copy will cost $30. The standard processing time of a birth certificate in Connecticut is 12-13 weeks. In-person applications have the option of paying the fee in cash or by credit/debit card. Mail-in applications must be paid by check or money order addressed to “Treasurer, State of CT”.
