How do I cancel my VRO+ membership?

You can cancel your VRO+ membership at any time by logging in to your VRO+ account and going to Billing → Subscriptions. Click Manage Subscription and follow the cancellation steps in Stripe. Once your cancellation is processed, no further membership fees will be billed, and your access to premium services will continue until the end of your current billing cycle.

Alternatively, you can contact our Customer Support team at 844-387-0200 for assistance. There are no cancellation fees or penalties — VRO+ is a month-to-month service with no long-term contracts.

What happens when I cancel my membership?

When you cancel, your VRO+ subscription will remain active until the end of your current billing cycle. After that:

  • Identity protection monitoring will stop — your personal information, Social Security number, and financial accounts will no longer be monitored for suspicious activity
  • Credit monitoring alerts will end — you won’t receive notifications about changes to your Experian credit report
  • Privacy scans will stop — daily scans of data broker sites and the dark web will be discontinued
  • VRO+ Insurance will expire — replacement coverage for lost, stolen, or damaged vital records will no longer apply
  • 20% VRO discount will be removed — future VRO orders will be charged at standard processing rates
  • Priority Assistance access will end — you’ll be directed to standard VRO customer support

Your data and preferences will remain securely stored if you choose to reactivate your membership in the future, but your accounts will no longer be monitored for potential risks.

How do I reactivate my VRO+ membership?

To reactivate your VRO+ membership, please contact our Customer Support team. They will guide you through the reactivation process and help restore your protection and membership benefits.

Reactivation is typically processed within one business day, and your identity monitoring and credit tracking will resume as soon as your membership is restored. If your previous payment method is no longer valid, you’ll be asked to provide updated billing information during the reactivation process.

Can I pause my VRO+ membership instead of cancelling?

At this time, VRO+ does not offer a pause feature. If you need to temporarily step away, you can cancel your membership and reactivate it later without losing your stored account data or preferences.

Keep in mind that during any period without an active VRO+ membership, your identity protection monitoring, credit alerts, and insurance coverage will be inactive. If you’re considering cancellation due to a billing issue, our Priority Assistance team may be able to help resolve the situation before you cancel.

Will I lose my data if I cancel?

No. When you cancel your VRO+ membership, your account data, preferences, and order history are securely retained. If you reactivate in the future, your account will be restored with your previous settings.

However, any identity monitoring data, credit alerts, and privacy scan histories from your active membership period will no longer be accessible through the VRO+ dashboard once your subscription ends. We recommend downloading any important reports or records before your membership expires.

How do I switch from monthly to annual billing (or vice versa)?

To change your billing cycle, contact VRO+ Priority Assistance through your dashboard or call our Customer Support team at 844-387-0200. A team member will help you switch between monthly and annual billing. Any changes will take effect at the start of your next billing cycle, and you’ll receive a confirmation email with your updated plan details.
