What payment options are available for VRO+?

VRO+ accepts major credit and debit cards, PayPal, and approved digital wallets such as Apple Pay and Google Pay. Members can choose to pay monthly or annually, and may also enable auto-renewal to maintain continuous protection. All payment information is processed using encrypted, PCI-compliant systems to ensure the highest level of security.

We recommend enabling auto-renewal so your identity protection, credit monitoring, and insurance coverage remain active without interruption. If a payment fails, you’ll receive an email notification with instructions to update your billing information before your membership is paused.

How do I update my payment details?

To update your payment information, log in to your VRO account (not VRO+). Go to the Billing tab, select Saved Payment Methods, and click Manage in Stripe. From there, you can securely add, update, or change your payment method for future charges.

It’s a good practice to update your payment method whenever you receive a new credit or debit card to avoid any interruption in your VRO+ membership benefits. Changes take effect immediately for all future billing cycles.

How can I access my billing history and receipts?

To view your billing history and download receipts, log in to your VRO+ account, go to the Billing section, and select Order History & Receipts. From there, you can review past transactions and download receipts as PDFs for your records.

Your billing history includes all membership charges, renewal dates, and any VRO service orders where your 20% member discount was applied. This makes it easy to track your savings and keep organized records for personal or tax purposes.

How do I update my personal information?

To update your personal information, please contact VRO+ Priority Assistance for help. You can reach them by phone, email, or secure live chat, and they will securely assist you in updating your contact details, address, or other account information.

For security reasons, certain sensitive changes — such as updating the email address associated with your account — require identity verification through our support team. This helps protect your account from unauthorized modifications.

Will I be charged during the 14-day free trial?

No. During your 14-day free trial, you have full access to all VRO+ features at no cost. Your payment method is collected at sign-up to ensure uninterrupted service if you choose to continue, but no charges are processed until day 15.

If you cancel before the trial ends, your payment method will not be charged. You can cancel at any time through your VRO account under Billing → Subscriptions or by contacting Customer Support.

Are there any hidden fees with VRO+?

No. VRO+ has no hidden fees, no setup charges, and no cancellation penalties. Your membership costs $9.99 per month (or the applicable annual rate), and that price includes all features: identity protection, credit monitoring, privacy scans, the 20% VRO discount, Priority Assistance, and up to $1 million in identity theft insurance. State fees for vital records ordered through VRO are separate and set by each state’s vital records office.
